On April the 3th, Herman's friend Hairi (center), caught this ray estimated 8kgs to 10kgs at the eastern shoreline of Sg at about 7pm when it rained. There is also garoupa and marine catfish. Peh piao.

Here, herman got this spotted ray at around ford road, weighing 8kgs and 3kgs from left respectively on goooood friday. JACKASS!!!

This in my first ray in 2010, It was a cold and sleepy night this morning, The nite was slow and quiet so me and herman was taking a short nap. After sleeping awhile i took up my handphone and look at the time and it was about 3am and i saw the tide was going low so i drag myself up and wake my buddy telling him it time to change bait. After loading and casting all our rod we went back to the ground sheet and relax, About 0330am a familiar sound went off ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and herman quickly jump up and tell me peng game on. I faster run to my rod and give it a good strike, the fight was short. 10 min later the Ray was lander and it a spotter ray it weight around 10 to 12kg. Thank Herman to gaff the ray for me.

me alone caught 10 or more fishes at an old spot and to my surprise, a regular wak caught this ray there. sucha waste iphones camera doesn't come with flash, if it does then i would have taken it together wit the ray. the one wak took for me was dark but its okay. luckily i heard the sound of the drag from his reel screaming cause i thought it was just some noises around. his rod fell off from his rod stand and nearly went into the waters below, but i got it and gave a jab and waited quite awhile for him to come. long talk cut short, it was a very pari-pari night cause i caught 2 sandray which in e end i gave both to another wak who barely caught a single fish the whole night. congrats wak!

Small Game Fishing!

May i welcome you a new member of AKAF, Shukri. We decided to take him into our team reason being, he's a hardworking yet helpful fishing buddy. And also he has been with us fishing for quite some trips. Rock On Brother!

This will be my last cr before i enlist in army. We went through thick jungle into this spot. A good spot for netting and fishing. Shukri caught one Wabi while i the rest. Guess my luck comes when i'm going in huh? It's okay. We'll try to hit that spot again with our big toys.

Welcoming A New Member Of AKAF

(this photo of mine reminded me of this one below)

These are the catches caught with the gang of four last night at the eastern side of our local shoreline. Those who hit the shore last night was Amin, Man, Jali and the newest member of AKAF, Amat. All contributed on the catches be it the 'helicopter' or 'usat', one good thing is everyone had fun. The ray was caught by bro Man using tamban hooks which were given by bro Min on small game using the holiday spin for the pasir-pasir which in the end also caught quite a number on kapas-kapas, and also the trevelly on biggame. Jali contributed 2 pasir-pasir but no big game landed, but he is quite happy with his tudung periuk(again) and the biggest kapas-kapas caught using bro Min small game rod. Bro Amat, being the quiet guy yet easygoing, entertained us with his great guitar music played. All and all, we all had fun.

A Lone Ranger At ECP

Was at ECP fishing alone, and this is what i've got. I wanted to call the members of AKAF but i doubt they can make it as mostly might be working. I'll be away to Indon for a short vacation this Sunday, that is why i can't fish on Friday as i might get tired. Though it may be scary to fish alone there especially on thursday night, the nibble of the fishes makes me occupy my time most. Those small fishes caught using my holiday spin on small game were used as bait for my big game. The pull of the malong emas were quite strong too. From that, i learnt how to improvise on my rig, on my personal belief. I wonder how the catches at Punggol for Dgonjolz crews.

AKAF First Debut

These are the catches from the lastest catch report, the first debut of AKAF. From many to three who turned up. But it doesn't dampens our morale for fishing. It's not all about fishing, we do try to get our surfcasting technic right to get the best distance possible. Bite rate at night seems slow.

Come morning, packed up and soon getting ready for home. Otw home, tide running high, with 2 packets of wat-wat left and some sotong caught from bedok jetty, we come to a point to fish again. Oh yes, we made the right choice. Amin load some more ammunition of cacing pasir to our bait and makes it sufficient for a good day fishing, and yeah sure those worms are thick and fat.
That makes the best bait for the day. Well enjoy.

One more from tuesday night. No big game but heard alot of splashes around the waters. Decided to hunt and finally this is the bugger who makes the noise. This is quite big and finally gave to one apek who ask alot of qns about the fish saying its baracuda when its gar fish and keep telling and makes his words go round and round when what he wants is the fish. Boliao. Oh ya, ignore the face. (:

Bro Ah Peng caught this ray last friday at about 2am
to mark our first ever catch report for anykast, anywhere.
Estimates roughly less than 2kg. It took on the kelong
sotong bought from Joe's and his first decent catch
on his new anyfish anywhere, big beach rod. Kudos to him!
